The ancient secrets of green tea series...Matcha

Powdered green tea, better known as Matcha has 137 times more antioxidants than regularly brewed green tea.


To prepare it follow the steps below:

~ Boil filtered water, after boiling point, let the water rest for 1min

~ Add 1/4 tsp of Matcha to a small mixing bowl

~ Add 1/8 tsp of rested hot water to the Matcha mixing bowl

~ Mix with a small whisk until it turns into a paste

~ Add 1 ounce of the rested hot water to the paste until it turns more liquid

~ Now you can add the mixed Matcha to your protein shake and drink


If you want to drink the Matcha alone simply add more hot water to taste. You can also enjoy matcha cold, but avoid adding ice, just cool it in the fridge overnight for best results.


Tea also contains "Theanine", which is an amino acid that helps the body break down caffeine, reducing the effects of caffeine, but you should still avoid consuming Matcha prior to bedtime.
