Courses

Level 1 course will introduce you to coffee like you've never known coffee. We dive into bean varieties, roasts, extraction types and much more. At the end I will illustrate the pour over process, which you will get to do yourself in level 2.

In Level 2 course, is hands on! Here, you will get to sample both Hario and Chemex brands, find out which makes your taste buds "zing," then choose your "chemistry set," and continue to learn all that is essential for an awesome extraction.

Level 3 course is a private session. Here you will spend time with me one on one, so that we can further hone your pour-over craftsmanship. Awesome, right?

*See our Facebook page for class schedules and prices. Classes lasts about an hour, and pricing depends on whether or not you purchase the equipment from us, bring your own and sign up for subsequent courses while in class. Do not miss out! Yes, pour-over is slower than other brewing methods, but flavor and body will trump quickness every time!
Whether using Chemex or Hario, it is essential that you at least have the brewer (Chemex or Hario), a goose neck kettle and a scale. We can go very fancy as with the Hario acrylic stand, carafe and branded scale, but these are the essential components to the pour over extraction method.
